Planning Your ArionERP Deployment: Key Takeaways

  • Cloud (SaaS) Simplicity: Our cloud version eliminates infrastructure management. All you need is a modern web browser and a stable internet connection. We handle the servers, security, and maintenance.
  • On-Premise Control: For businesses requiring full data control, our on-premise version offers flexibility. Success depends on meeting the specified server, database, and network requirements.
  • Scalable by Design: The requirements provided are tiered to match your company's size and growth trajectory, from small teams to large enterprises, ensuring you only provision what you need.
  • Security is Paramount: Whether cloud or on-premise, a secure configuration (SSL, firewalls, access policies) is non-negotiable for protecting your business data.

Choose Your Deployment Path

ArionERP offers two distinct deployment models to fit your business's operational, security, and budget requirements. Select an option below to view the detailed technical specifications.

ArionERP Cloud: Focus on Your Business, Not on IT

ArionERP On-Premise: Ultimate Control & Customization

For organizations that require direct control over their data and infrastructure, the on-premise deployment provides maximum flexibility. The following specifications are crucial for a stable, secure, and performant system.

Server Hardware Specifications

Hardware requirements scale based on the number of concurrent users and transaction volume. These are general guidelines; a detailed sizing consultation with our architects is recommended for complex deployments.

Component Small (1-25 Users) Medium (26-100 Users) Large (100+ Users)
CPU (Application Server) 4+ Cores @ 2.4 GHz+ 8+ Cores @ 2.6 GHz+ 16+ Cores @ 3.0 GHz+
RAM (Application Server) 16 GB 32 GB 64 GB+
Disk (Application Server) 100 GB SSD (RAID 1) 250 GB SSD (RAID 1/10) 500 GB+ NVMe (RAID 10)
CPU (Database Server) 4+ Cores @ 2.4 GHz+ 8+ Cores @ 2.8 GHz+ 16+ Cores @ 3.2 GHz+
RAM (Database Server) 16 GB 64 GB 128 GB+
Disk (Database Server) 250 GB SSD (RAID 10) 500 GB NVMe (RAID 10) 1 TB+ NVMe (RAID 10)

Note: Using separate physical or virtual servers for the Application and Database is highly recommended for production environments.

Frequently Asked Questions

Get answers to common technical questions about setting up ArionERP.

Absolutely. ArionERP is fully supported on major virtualization platforms like VMware vSphere/ESXi and Microsoft Hyper-V. We recommend following virtualization best practices, such as reserving CPU and RAM resources for the ERP virtual machines to guarantee performance.

For production environments, we strongly recommend a dedicated database server (physical or virtual) for ArionERP. Sharing database resources with other applications can lead to performance contention, unpredictable response times, and complications during troubleshooting and upgrades.

For on-premise deployments, you are responsible for your backup strategy. We recommend daily database backups and regular full VM snapshots stored in a separate physical location. Your disaster recovery plan should be tested regularly to ensure you can meet your Recovery Time Objective (RTO) and Recovery Point Objective (RPO).

Clients with an active Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC) receive access to all updates, security patches, and major version upgrades. We provide detailed release notes and instructions. Your IT team will be responsible for applying these updates to your servers.

Yes. As part of our implementation packages, our solution architects work closely with your team to perform a detailed analysis of your user count, transaction volume, and specific module usage. Based on this, we provide tailored hardware and architecture recommendations to ensure your infrastructure is perfectly sized for your needs, both now and in the future.
