From The IT Department

Hear from technical leaders who have successfully deployed ArionERP and appreciate the clarity and support we provide.

The system requirements documentation was refreshingly clear. We were able to provision our virtual servers for the on-premise deployment in a single afternoon. The whole process was far smoother than our previous ERP implementation.

We chose the ArionERP Cloud option to minimize our IT overhead. The fact that the only requirement on our end was a web browser was a huge selling point. It allowed us to roll out to three new warehouses in under a week.

As a professional services firm, data residency is non-negotiable. ArionERP's on-premise option gave us the control we needed. Their support team was excellent in helping us configure the database server for optimal performance.

Frequently Asked Questions

Your technical questions, answered. Here are some common queries from IT professionals during the evaluation process.

Absolutely. We fully support and recommend running ArionERP servers on virtualized environments like VMware vSphere or Microsoft Hyper-V. It provides excellent flexibility for resource management, backups, and disaster recovery.

Our primary supported database is Microsoft SQL Server (2019 or newer). We recommend the Standard Edition for most deployments. Please contact our technical team to discuss potential support for other database systems for enterprise-level projects.

For small deployments (under 25 users), it's possible to run both the application and database roles on a single, well-provisioned server. However, for optimal performance and scalability, we strongly recommend separating the Application Server and Database Server onto dedicated physical or virtual machines.

For remote users connecting to an On-Premise installation via VPN, we recommend a minimum of 5 Mbps download and 1 Mbps upload speed per concurrent user for a smooth experience. The server's own internet connection should have sufficient upload bandwidth to support all concurrent remote users.

We release regular updates and security patches for our On-Premise customers. Your IT team will be responsible for applying these updates. We provide detailed release notes and instructions to make the process as straightforward as possible. This is covered under the annual maintenance contract.
